The Radiation Oncology Department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is one of the premier radiation treatment centers in the world, but their previous website didn’t reflect ​its world-class reputation. ​That’s why leaders of the department, in coordination with Brigham’s marketing group, approached CviaD to bring new life and logic to its web presence.

Over several months, the CviaD team worked with department leaders to revamp the site’s content and design within the context of the parent Brigham and Women’s site. Work included: redefining the ​site’s navigation architecture, developing new messaging and content for all sections based on interviews with key leaders, creating a new interface design and site structure, selecting new photos, and implementing all changes within Brigham’s content management system (CMS).

In addition, the CviaD team led the creation of two new videos — one which provides an overview of the department and a second that zooms in on a specific patient’s experience. These changes and additions have vastly improved the user experience on the site and now present the Radiation Oncology Department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in a light that is consistent with their outstanding reputation for excellence.​
